Rick “Man on Dog” Santorum : It’s the Christian Thing to Let Poor People Suffer

Rick Santorum: Jesus Wants the Poor to Suffer

According to 2012 Republican Presidential Candidate, Rick Santorum, It’s a good thing when poor people suffer from lack of food, shelter, heat or medical care. In fact, it’s a great Christian tradition to suffer.

Rick, the poor people suffer already. The poor have suffered long enough. Many low-income Americans wouldn’t even be poor if the rich bastards and greedy corporations hadn’t stolen all of our country’s resources for themselves. The wealth hasn’t trickled down as we were promised by republican spin doctors and their voodoo economics. Enough is enough.

In Rick’s eyes, if less money is spent on food for hungry children and senior citizens, there can be more tax breaks for the wealthiest Americans and greedy corporations.

Rick Santorum should immediately give up his health insurance and start living the life of a poor person. Don’t be a hypocrite, Rick. The average food stamp recipient receives less than a $1 a meal per day. When was the last time you ate a 75 cent dinner?

I want to know if Rick Santorum would be able to feed his family on a minimum wage income. Has Rick Santorum ever had to tuck his children in at night while they were crying from hunger?

Rick, you are a disgusting weasel. You are a wart on the rump of humanity.  Many people wouldn’t need food stamps or the Earned Income Tax Credit if they were able to find good jobs with benefits. I’m talking about jobs that actually pay a living wage. Safety net programs are the reason that greedy bosses and corporations get away with paying their employees peanuts.

Rick, do you think a mother is happy working 60 hours a week for such little pay that she still qualifies for food stamps?

I am not a religious person. However, you may have made a praying woman out of me.

If you get elected president, I will pray every night that you and your loved ones will suffer as much as the poor families that you will hurt by cutting their safety net programs. I’m sure I won’t be the only one doing this either.

Who the heck does Rick Santorum think he is? Jesus Christ? He thinks that he gets to decide who suffers and who doesn’t suffer?  This man is absolutely disgusting. Rick Santorum is a warped and greedy republican.

It makes you wonder what kind of a twisted upbringing Rick Santorum had.  Why is he into all of this “joy through suffering “masochistic Christian crap?  Why does Rick Santorum have such a God Complex? How does someone become this callous and coldhearted?

Rick Santorum appears to practice some deranged form of Christianity. What Bible does Rick Santorum read from?  I thought Jesus told his followers to feed and clothe the poor. In Rick’s Bible, Jesus tells the hungry children to starve to death while he gobbles up a big steak.

If America was a country without resources, like Somalia, it would be one thing. But that’s not the case with our beautiful and plentiful country. The United States government actually pays rich farmers farm subsidies not to grow food. There is absolutely no reason that anyone should ever go hungry in America.  There is no need for anyone to suffer in the United States.

Greedy and twisted republicans can pander to their death hag Tea Party base all they want. The majority of Americans are good and compassionate people who feel disgust with cruel and sadistic men like Rick Santorum. The majority of the Americans do not worship at the altar of death and suffering like these deranged people do.

Rick Santorum is simply pandering to the sadistic teabaggers again. He’s selling his soul to the devil for some primary votes. Doesn’t he realize how horrible his cruel talk sounds to mainstream and moderate Americans? Most Americans are smart enough to know that Rick’s devious plan would have horrifying ramifications and unintended consequences for our great country.

The fact that Rick Santorum said this during Thanksgiving week, when many families will not have a turkey on the table, makes it seem even more heartless. Maybe someone should send Rick Santorum a copy of Frank McCourt’s masterpiece biography, Angela’s Ashes. Maybe his eyes would be opened to the plight of hungry children growing up in poor families.
